Step 3 of 4
Connect your AI agent.
Set up the horizOn MCP server. Your agent helps with SDK import and your next features.

Two keys. One connected project.
The project key connects your game. The account key lets your agent use the relevant dashboard tools. Both full values belong in the MCP configuration.
These values stay in this page’s memory only. The account key is never exported to the game configuration. Use it only in a trusted MCP client.
Open API keysPrepare your project Project key
Add the MCP server
Save the horizOn entry in .cursor/mcp.json in your project. Node.js 18+ with npx must be installed.
Keep your existing server entries. Both keys entered above are included here.
Choose your project and enter both full keys. Your ready MCP configuration will then appear here.
Check both connections in your client
horizOn must appear as connected. Ask your agent to run horizon_test_connection and check account access using a permitted read-only tool for the selected project. Project and account access are checked separately.
Then prepare your game
Your project configuration belongs in your engine even with an agent. Use this request before installation and import.
Use the connected horizOn MCP server and read horizon://quickstart/unity and horizon://docs/auth. First inspect my open game project and installed SDK. If missing, help install it and import horizOn_config.json through my engine’s official config importer. Use only the project key for the game. Then run setup-auth with engine unity and method anonymous. Help me run the game in the editor and verify the first response. Preserve existing code and never print real keys.
